Major Responsibilities
• Participate in presales activities such as Proof of concept, tender specifications discussions and
other technical sales activities
• Installation and commissioning of new TM500/E500 systems and software
• Onsite customer training
• Interoperability testing of TM500/E500 and customer base stations
• Troubleshoot and diagnostics of customer technical issues
• Work closely with Wireless Business Unit engineering team to resolve technical issues
• Build and maintain close relationships with key customers.
Pre-Requisites & Experience
• Experience of working in a technical discipline, preferably within a cellular environment, minimum
5 years.
• Possess a deep understanding in protocols for cellular system according to 3GPP standards,
especially in relating to UE
• Deep understanding of Layer 1, 2 (MAC, RLC and PDCP sub-layer) and 3
• Self-learning capability
• Flexible to handle different style people
• Ability to work independently
• Strong and broad background on various networks and communications technologies
• Work experience on testing either for handset or base station.
• University degree in electronics engineering, telecommunication engineering, or a similar
discipline; Master’s degree preferable
• Able to work effectively alone, whilst being a team player
• Ability to work under pressure, and provide good quality work in a timely manner
• Must be enthusiastic, a clear verbal and written communicator (both in English and Chinese)
